Chanel Jimenez, Youth Program Coordinator
Chanel has extensive experience working with youth and young adults in the U.S. and overseas on topics of intercultural exchange and civic engagement. She previously worked for the U.S. Peace Corps where she created programs for high school students on topics of leadership and professionalism. She also supported university students who were interested in working outside of the United States. She is a first generation Mexican - American and has experienced navigating U.S. culture and language as a young child. She holds a Master of Arts in sustainable development projects from the School for International Training. Her graduate studies focused on women and girls gender studies and project monitoring and evaluation (M&E) skills. Lastly, Chanel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Anthropology from the University of North Texas.
